Touch Every Neighbor with God's Kindness!

Inspiring, Equipping & Encouraging

Home 2 Hearts will inspire, equip, and encourage participants to be and do everything they need to share Christ with their neighbors with God-wrought conviction, confidence, and courage. Home 2 Hearts’ teaching will provide such equipping so that each participant will know the joy of sharing Jesus with God’s kindness with their neighbors and others in the power and love of the Holy Spirit, trusting the results to God.

As pastors, we want God’s people to know the love, joy, and peace of experiencing:

  1. The Great Commandment and “a second is like it” (Matthew 22:37-39).
  2. The Great Commission of “making disciples” (Matthew 28:18-20).
  3. Being filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:17-18).
  4. Being kind to one another, compassionate, and forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32).
  5. Sharing Christ with others as followers of Him (Mark 1:17).
  6. Devoting themselves to the teaching of God’s Word, to each other, and to prayer (Acts 2:42).
  7. God’s power and love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Since many of God’s people are not “walking by the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16-17) and “Thinking God” (John 8:31-32), our culture has influenced their thinking in the following ways:

  1. Mobilization– “I do not have time to invest in those who are going to move away from my neighborhood in a few years anyway.”
  2. The rise of the Middle Class– “I do not need others. I can afford to do it myself.”
  3. Individualism– “It’s all about me.”
  4. The breakdown in Families– “Loving others will only lead to more disappointment and hurt for me.”
  5. Over-Commitment- -“I am so busy I cannot do anymore.”
  6. Garage Door-Opener Mindset– “Isolation is something I want and enjoy.”
  7. Fear– “I cannot do that.”

The mission and ministry of Home 2 Hearts provides a biblical strategy and structure for every pastor to lead God’s people from where many are—“thinking me,” to where God has saved them to be – “Thinking God!”
